Garth school is a co-educational day school for pupils aged from two years to eighteen years. The school caters for 29 pupils who may have severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficuties. Many of the pupils suffer from sensory impairment, communication problems and behavioral disorders including those within the autistic spectrum.

The school is situated in the pleasant rural market town of Spalding close to local sports facilities and residential housing.

The school grounds are extensive and safe and include two ponds, play areas and playing fields.

The school facilities include a large hydrotherapy pool with an integrated light and sound system. A soft gym and a science technology room. The school has access to a minibus. Special facilities are also available for the profound and multiple handicapped pupil.
